Facebook’s virtual summit, Global Athlete Connect, brought together company leadership and Olympians + Paralympians from around the world to discuss how athletes can best utilize social media during their experience at the 2020 Games.
The 2+ hour broadcast reached 3 international regions and was translated into 5 languages. The event also launched the @ToykoAthletes handle to give athletes tips and tricks as well as a direct line to Facebook and Instagram throughout their time in Tokyo.
