Before the public launch of GoT season 4, HBO delivered an unprecedented premiere screening for 10,000+ fans at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center. The event sold out in 15 minutes – with ticket proceeds going to charity – and featured photo activations, commemorative t-shirts, a throne giveaway, costume exhibit, a performance by Common and surprise appearances by the beloved GoT cast and even creator/author himself, George R.R. Martin.
Thousands of fans “checked” their phones so they could get inside to be the very first to watch the S4 premiere a few weeks early.
